So just pulled up outside my house and go to turn the engine off, just as I'm about to turn the key my EPC light decides to make an appearance great

mine did the same came up as a miss fire so did the basics to solve it (spark plugs and the likes) and it came straight back on.

then it decided to turn itself off again and it just kept on coming on then off lol didnt affect the car at all

easy fix disconnect the battery for 15 min then re-attach and bobs your uncle it should be gone lol

how is the GTi? everything ok now?

Basically took it into the garage and they ran it on the vag-com:

01276 - ABS hydraulic pump - Signal outside tolerance

16955 - Brake switch fault

He just cleared them off and told me to come back if it came on again, or if it didn't come back in a month anyway and he'd run the diagnostics again just to checkk

Tbh it's been running fine (touch wood hahah) :)

Sounds more like low pads and corroded abs ring on disks...? He did check it over like and yoru not running round with no brakes?

LOL nahh he did check it over haha tbh it's due a full service by the family mechanic asap so just gonna get him to check the car over thorough anyways :)

SMALL UPDATE: So finally the rain held off long enough for a much needed wash and polish, and FINALLY got round to tinting the foglights, not bad vinyl for a £1.49 eBay special

and also made a new tax disk holder cos the old one was U.G.L.Y

Awaiting a package in the next few days, another little mod on the way :)

People say that the RX2's on the GTi's are rare, but I don't think I have ever seen these wheels in the flash, let alone on a car. But these wheels do pop up from time to time, but the GTi wheels are always there on ebay

Ahhh I mailed the guy but someone snuck in with a bid right at the end and got them lol :( . . . Yeahh they stopped production of them they used to be like £7 a pair new or something . . . They come up from time to time on here just keep a look out :)
