Pokes too much IMO. Needs to be lower, smaller tyres, bigger arches or try some camber? Will look wicked if you get them fitted properly though

right guys got wheels, I'm not fitting them until i give the inside of them a clean and i underseal the car.

i tried one on the back just now and this is the result.

i know there is a limit to how far the wheel sticks out, but my arches have already been rolled and flared. is it legal if the tread is still inline with the arch?

plus the car is on coilovers (its high because I've got 17" on at the moment) so I've still to lower it more and it should hide the tyre more.

any tips or advise would be greatly appreciated.

looks legal to me!!!

will look good when lowered more!

yeah tread must be covered and only aloud about 30mm of wheel poking apparently

should easilly get away with that unless you get a real bastard police man

:paranoid: Looks so good already!!

That's some poke I fookin love it [y]

Thanks guys, I'll lower it more and push my luck with the police, if it comes to the crunch that I do get stopped, ill need to see if I can flare the arch more and lower a tad more :D

Yep, this.

185/45...bit of camber m10 washer (3 in front..2 in back) and pull your aches more then youll be sorted.

these wheels are sooo sexy <3!

Lows and tad of camber will look sick!

Have you tried one on the front yet? The front track is wider than the rear, so you may find you have even more poke at the front

I've tried one on front earlier on today, but i cant fit them yet, need to wait for skinny wheel bolts that I've bought from ebay (original wheel nuts fit but cant get them tight because tool wont go into wheel)

believe it or not but i have camber shims on rear with the maximum negative camber they go to.

i would upload pics of front but I've used up 981.54k of 1mb. so does any one know how to get more attachment space?

front have slight camber due to being lowered, but arches have not been rolled, i will put wheels on and lower it once I've finished undersealing it (got one side done but started raining)

i deleted a pic so i have more space.

i want to get arches as close to tyres as possible but with a slight gap for speed bumps or cornering.

i dont really fancy putting new (smaller) tyres on because i will have to lower it more to get arch close to tyre, and I'm not really wanting to cut a notch out the chassis for the drive shafts.

ill make it work somehow. :)

yeahh, them tyres are a bigger size than standard anyway though you know?

Are they? The wheels are 8 1/4" wide. They already have quite a stretch on them, I don't want too much of a stretch as these are the first wide wheels with stretched tyres I've ever bought.

What about 175/55/15?

195/45 is the standard size. in unstretched form these are 20mm taller than 195/45

These wheels are 8.25" wide thats around 210mm. These Wheels were made to have stretched tyres. 195 is the widest tyre you can get for a 15" wheel.

No wheels are made for stretch lol.

You'll struggle for room as 50 profiles are big, even with stretch!

You could run 195/45 on 8.5's
