Cadbury purple with the very edge of the lip sanded down and polished if you get what I mean just my 2p

Did a photoshop, Want the wheels in one of these colours potentially..

So I've done them in Brown/copper colour, like the new Honda Civics have been released in, It wont be as metallic looking on all of these by the way.

Or purple..

Or gold..

Silver on silver I think. Then the 165/50 tyres, space the rear out. Bonnet bra is spoiling it in my opinion and maybe orange side repeaters. Love the car mate

Its a love hate thing, frankly I don't understand the hate! but each to their own

I'd love to do the stretch tyres thing, but been there done that. Prefer just low profiles personally on these wheels, if they were 8j's I could justify it.

Silver does seem to look the best.. but I have had an interesting Idea, now, I've done them in black, but imagine in different colours too...

Basically fill out and smooth of the Ronal and Turbo on the wheels, then paint. Get them looking similar to the old ronal turbos, no writing on them

Standard polished lip, everything else painted...

Now, Thoughts?!

I'm going to do them today no matter what, I just need a majority vote, what do we think of this..

i say purple mate, its different and looks sweet!

The windows do actually have a slight blue tint applied, Just a subtle one :)

I wouldnt be able to match that finish, Its almost an anodized finish in the pictures, It will be a painted finish, so just a glossy coat

To start with It looked a bit crap, stickers everywhere, Red VW badges, Discoloured grills, a misty headlight and the desperate need for a service.

To kick off the cleaning up I removed all the stickers, one revealed a nasty scuff on the bump strip!

Sanded back my headlight to then polish out that horrible weathering

Gave it a big polish and wax

Resprayed the badges

Refurbished the wheels

Cleaned up the Air filter

So far its come along some way with no real money spent.

Coilovers are on the way.

I'm planning on getting some BBS RS Reps (Dare's) Or banded Steelies, depending on how things go.

Watch this space..

I don't know why you think I would mate, cheers though.

Just got some new wheels today, 15" by 7 and 8j

Banded Vauxhall steels with stretched tyres, Unfortunately the tyres are too big, they catch on the arches quite bad

I'm going to get 195 45 15s to solve that, I'll also be getting a degree more camber on the rear wheels.

The faces will be painted black, and the dishes body colour silver.

This is how they looked before I raised it

Wheels got resprayed today, Lips in silver and faces in black. Looking pretty nice now!

Might have to go ahead and make them work!

I'm getting 195 / 45 / 15 Tyres,

So I've found that at a guess, these wheels are 8J rear with ET 12 offset, So they will need some more stretch to fit..

I'm also going to add a degree of camber to push them in a bit.

It needs more lows everywhere, It's actually practical at the moment.. Life is so shit!

Don't know what to do.. Mad camber, lower profiles and spring assisters.. OR new wheels..

Just adjusted the camber on the rear an other degree, I'll take some pictures in a bit

Will be getting some more stretched tyres to fit these on.. I'm getting 195 / 45 / 15s.

Then all I will need is some Spring Assisters to stop the springs compressing too much and rubbing the wheels on the arch

It needs so many more lows!

I'm getting lower profile tyres so I can lower it down a bit.
