Looking sweet mate, you certainly know how to mod cars. Definitely stick with the turbos

A few things I can add actually, I've lowered the car a bit more, a further 5mm the other day,

And i have also started sorting out my engine bay now.. Pictures to follow !

Another photo, I still haven't touched the car. Need to sort the washer jets and a few other bits.

New exhaust is being planned out, hopefully a hidden box will look good..

Nice and simple!!.

Shows what a small budget can do!

Only thing i'd do next is get a little bit of stretch and spacers so it sits even better :)

I've been toying with the idea of spacers, I already have enough stretch though :)

i would put a 165 50 15 tyres on and 20mm spacers all round but if you like to drive your car then 12mm spacers up front and 20s rear look how much you have to play with at the front because even with a 12 you might catch your ache liners :)

Cheers for the info, I like the extra grip I will be getting with 175s, and they don't look 'too skinny' I want drivability, performance and looks, which i think the 175s acheive :)

I may try 20mm rears, if not 15 etc, and leave the fronts as they are because I prefer that staggered poke look (if you have a look at my last car :p)

I'll have a little look and see if I can do a better edit than that one as I didn't really like it as much as my other stuff, bare with me

A lot of you will be happy to see my new updates,

haven't been on here for a while

So far I've cleaned the car up so the bodywork is near mint.

I've also removed the bonnet bra :)

I'm looking to make the car a bit more track orientated.. not sure how just yet, but perhaps strut brace, buckets, new exhaust..

Just want to make the car a bit stiffer, maybe a remove a bit of weight and give it some wider stickier tyres so I can take it on the track at some point.

I've been doing go karting a lot recently and it's really got me interested in doing it with a car.

Just sold my 8v 6n2, the progress was going great but the car didnt go anywhere:

shopped-1.jpg

I've decided to get a GTI, Spent weeks searching and finally found one that ticked all the boxes..

Full 12 months MOT

Tax

89k miles

Few subtle mods

Service history

At a great price.

To start with It looked a bit crap, stickers everywhere, Red VW badges, Discoloured grills, a misty headlight and the desperate need for a service.

533032_2974868137090_1423410071_32147542

To kick off the cleaning up I removed all the stickers, one revealed a nasty scuff on the bump strip!

Sanded back my headlight to then polish out that horrible weathering

Gave it a big polish and wax

Resprayed the badges

Refurbished the wheels

Cleaned up the Air filter

So far its come along some way with no real money spent.

Coilovers are on the way.

I'm planning on getting some BBS RS Reps (Dare's) Or banded Steelies, depending on how things go.

Watch this space..

hi mate one of my headlights is misty as fuck, can you talk through process of returbong them??

Thanks a lot bro
