hey i said id speak to them, not that id be able to get them cheaper haha, most of our stuff we have is prototype so I'm not sure 185/50/14 would fit a jag or land rover???

Stripped the beam down, and played around with the alternator pulley situation.

Any excuse to play with fire

Gonna turn 7.3mm off the Mk4 alternator pulley to align

So I'm gonna have the following powdercoated black:

All engine + box mounts

Crank AUX belt pulley

Alternator adjuster

Engine lifting eyes

My brackets for holding carbs

Alternator fan

Rear beam

Drum brake back plates.

Will paint the alternator and starter just to tidy them up a bit.

Hopefully finish my lower brace and refurb the calipers over the next couple of weeks and get bits powdercoated.

Need to order some items such as

CV boots

New rad

Drums

Shoes

Cylinders

Handbrake cables

Wheel bearings

Etc.

Can get the engine back together now and crack on with things like making my little switch pannel and that.

Need to find out if I can bin the accumilator thing by the fuel pump and blank the return fuel line off (is there a vent stil?)

Whats the difference with the gt beam? Is it that plate on either corner?

It just has an ARB, basically a piece of tube welded across to stiffen it up, I wanted to resto a beam so may aswel upgrade :)

Oh rightt. I want to refurb a rear beam for mine just not sure if gt beam is worth it since i have a standard one on the silver coupe doing nothing

I think the holes are there in a standard be, buy a length of tube and weld it in?
