I been busy.

I spent £30 on some bumper treatment that is smaller than a pot of nail varnish, it is fucking amazing I am so impressed. It bonds into the plastic and lasts like 2 years! Looks factory fresh virtually!

Cleaned the shit out of it and couldn't resist wheels, just need some centres.

After today I absolutely love how it looks, I am so pleased with it, I cannot wait for power and all the new bits now!

Also rides better on the new tyres :)

It's not so glossy now as its gone as factory, it's not sticky etc like silicon stuff, definately worth the money! The tiny container did bumpers, strips, trims and mirrors!

Some pics of car! So happy

Once it's spaced a bit at rear, has centres and ride heights are set I'll be pretty much done exterior for now, subtle!

A happy nick xx

Looks PHAT ...

No issues with scrubbing ?

Whats the tyres like >?

Looks good mate! Jet black plastics make such a difference!

  • Author

No scrubbing but no spacers on rear yet and front isn't as low as I want, may need some tweaks not sure.

Tyres arnt even scrubbed in yet but feel ok, just seems the back end wants to come round at the mo!

Yeah hopefully it'll last, Iv only read good things though :)

you used that Gtechniq c4 stuff? might get some if it lasts a long time, this auto finesse stuff looks great but doesnt last too long, this still got the original interior?

  • Author

Yeap that's the one mate! Seems decent, the tiniest bit does do much haha!

It's got genesis seats and light grey CL door cards ew haha

gonna have to purchase me some of that then, you looking for a gt/g40 interior? may be selling my full grey gt interior inc. all seats, doorcards, and grey carpet too! just need to get a pair of front seats and a few mk2 polo door card bits then its outta there :D

  • Author

I just want dark door cards for now man!

Looking good Nick, but I thought you would of got the bumpers to fit better to the body fit/crease lines on the front wing and around the rear lights, both front n rear look like there down on the fit line :-(

  • Author

They are mate, the front needs some form of bracket to support it, guess its sagged over time.

And the rear upper brackets are broken, will be addressed eventually. Tis a project afterall!

Get me some power brakes and decent suspension! :)

^ They do that when you fit them yourself usually. Loosen the bolts slightly, have someone lift the bumper then tighten them again.

I did lol :(
