I have owned this car since 2008. used it on the road for about 9 months but blew the engine and box powersliding around double hairpin bends. :oops:

here is the car when i picked it up. tatty but tax exempt and 12 months MOT

so while it was off the road i decided to repair the rottern lower rear quarters

I decided to dig her out from her hiding place and have a look at her to see what else needed doing. and found more welding needed on the front chassie rails and floor pans

cheers. the route i was going to go down was a 2.0 16v in this one. I'm tempted by an astra vxr lump but they are abit pricey at the mo

ye red top. or may go omega 2.2 if i can find a whole car cheap enough as i would have all the wiring and mounts for rwd.

My mate has one of these with the rover V8 engine in.

It has such beautiful lines. Great work keeping it alive!!!
