Hey guys heres a few pictures of my polo g40 which me and my good friend built from scratch.I did have a white g40 but it was twisted and beyond welding so i used all the bits off my white one to build this black one.shes abit rough round the edges but i only finished at xmas.So I've got alot of work to do in the summer.

looks clean man :) bet it goes well aswell lol :)

Is she a genuine G?, looks realy good mate.

Think a new full metal FMIC and better fitting fogs will make this look proper mint

Paint looks mint as! Lovely :)

Yep it's a genuine g the bloke I brought the shell off had it in storage for years.

It looks like a real minter this does, great work on getting it back on the road.

Good work chap. Nothing more satisfying than knowing you have checked-over/serviced/replaced everything on your car!

Built not bought, as they say.

I think i'd black the I/C out though for stealth. Thats just me though. looks good!

The intercooler was originally black but I sprayed it silver so people would look on their mirror and think why does that old polo have an intercooler like that on lol random I know

Nice one mate looks nice and clean, agree with the foglights though they just look a bit plonked on.

But looks like you've put a lot of effort in, good work! Bet it's great to drive

Where's the best pace to get some decent fogs from then cuz I'm not keen on them tbh

Not sure really, genuine ones rarely come up for sale (unless I'm blind). I found some hella ones online a while back but they were like £90 each or something ridiculous. I saw a cheap set in a shop and bought them cos they were the right size to fit, i cut out the holes in a spare bumper and plonked them in and they look ok but never bothered fitting them properly. Your best bet is to just keep an eye out for some genuine ones probably.

Or just take them off and put a new bumper on?

In all honesty though it's all irrelevant, cos if i was you and i had just got my G40 on the road i wouldn't give a shit about the foglights
