Exhausts

Featured Replies

Yo,

I have two exhausts for sale.

One is a TA technix 2.5" cat back, twin silenced with twin tail pipe (single back box) this was £270 from PhilJ around a year ago.

Second is one I had made, 2" pipe, with a decat to mount to a 4-2-1, twin silenced, slim back box and single exit, this cost me basically £400 and was made by custom chrome in Nuneaton (a reputable company) I believe it has a lifetime warranty but not sure it's transferable vehicle to vehicle. IIRC it's 308 grade stainless.

We spent ages making it so it doesn't knock the beam on a low car etc!

£250/offers

Both fit 6n/2, TA comes with reducer to fit an 8v cat I think.

Collected from Coventry,

Pics when I get chance :)

Nick

Will throw in a SS 4-2-1 with either exhaust.

It's bent but not too bad, should straighten.

will these fit a 6n2 gti and any pics of the custom exhaust and manifold

  • Author

Exhaust will, manifold won't.

I'll take it off the weekend if I'm off work mate

This is a decent exhaust, good clearance for low cars and doesn't knock anywhere (I had massive issues with exhausts knocking the beam)

It will take a bit of time lining up due to expansion but it's a good exhaust, isn't too loud either.

That's why I'm gonna get another made there once the engines in, rather than trying to bodge that to fit, it'll make a good exhaust for someone and fits decent unlike half the aftermarket ones..I dunno about sound of it haha any ideas Eric?

i reckon it sounded nice, popped on the overrun too haha. not too loud though either. i dont think itd be hard to get it fitted to your mk3..

Heres a video but I kinda think it's impossible to tell due to induction noise?

Hi Harris, you still got the TA technix exhaust for sale mate? Its in full working order and not blowing or anything i take it? And have you still got all the clamps an stuff for it? Also, is there any chance you would take £100 for it?

  • Author

I do, I dunno if I have clamps or not, I'm thinking not but they're about £1.50 each from Halfords or can order off the web in advanced.

Will take £100 yeah.

If anyone's interesed please PM me as I don't check threads lol

TA one is gone,

Custom still avail.

4-2-1 also gone.

£230 for the custom one!

Great fit for a 6n, even comes with a decat with a flange to bolt straight to a 4-2-1, better than any off the shelf shit that doesnt fit properly
