Just bought this for 350 cant believe it its done 30,000 lady owner from new, full service history and all mots and it even came with 12 months, its mint inside and out, old lady couldnt drive it anymore.

Any ideas what to do with it?

Bargain! Up to you really what you want to do, you could go down the route of lowering/ra's /alleycats which most people do with mk3s tbh or of its good condition keep it standard and try to get it as clean as possible! I would lower with some ra's keep it standardish condition. Nice car though

Would the 80mm springs fit the standard shockers just for a few months

It would but it would be pointless. Front suspension on a mk3 is a pain in the arse to do so doesn't make sense to do a crap job of it once then do it again. Just do it all at once.

Stick a gt in it, there's a port polished gt head and abd bottom end going cheap in classifieds

Geting vr6 init in two months

Everything is been done, got a m8 whos a mechanic and been made redundent so will keep him going for a few day till he sorts another job out, not for 2 months tho so guna to put some lower springs while its time
