She's had nothing done to her but I just wanted to show you her haha.. She's my first car so I don't think the novelty of having a car has worn off yet! Got a few things to do to her so it's like a wee mini project on an extremely low budget :))

Bought her for £1000 with 40,000 miles on the clock. She had been in a low-speed collision so is a little damaged at the front, and there used to be a cut-out in the dashboard which has now been replaced :) Other than that and needing two tyres and an exhaust for its MOT in October she's perfectly fine!

That was her when I got her hehe..

Gave her a wee clean today when we got the pressure washer out, she's so shiny I can see myself in her pretty well!

My phone isn't allowing me to get the rest of my pictures because it's crap so I'll upload when/if I can do!

In two minds whether or not to debadge her? I kinda like the polo lettering for some reason ..

Getting some alloys, hopefully tinting the windows, getting coilovers and de-wipering her to begin with!

Think about £20 off eBay for the ones I have... and about £20 for the surrounds... make sure they're legal though.. I took mine to the police to check first and got a note off them to say they had been checked, aslong as the eBay seller says they are legal and has returns accepted he hasn't got a leg to stand on if the police say no..:-)

Gonna do the cheaper stuff first, de-badge her, de-wiper.. get the pressed plates :) then before I lower and get alloys I think I'll fix the damage at the front... I'm not sure though! I might lower & get alloys first?! undecided..

Yep, I need a new bonnet as well :( Then she should be looking fine! I think I'll get those sorted before I mess about with anything else? Would make sense.. Spent £170 already buying and fitting a new dashboard :(

Well of course! I actually got it done very, very cheap.. The dash itself was gonna be over £100.. Then I found one for £70 on ebay! And the labour to get it fitted was seeming horrendously expensive.. But then the garage near me said they'd do it for £100.. And it ended up taking the poor guy over four hours!

My Dad took me to a car show, and then to Knockhill racecourse for a day.. Which is when I fell in love with the golf and the polo! Told my Dad i wanted one or the other for my 17th birthday when i was only 11.. Low and behold I have my polo!
