Wicked :)

I've got those, haven't used them in a long time though

I saw that post about the guy saying don't use the Autoglym; I mean, I've never had a problem with it, but it does leave white marks on black plastic trim though, so tapping them trims up is a good idea :-p

Forgot to blacken my trims though :(

Yeah was going to PM so I didnt clog up your thread but it happened anyway haha

as for your trims. I used bumper care on mine the day after waxing but like I said I tape my trims up so they werent too bad anyway ;)

slam it

slam it

in all honesty, the handling of these is amazing now since i replaced the shockers with original parts, so "slamming it" is not for me

however, i am considering a set of stiffened set of springs

Thank you so much liam, the bloke i bought it off was thinking about breaking it or scrapping it! (because of the mechanical and bodywork problems it had ;) haha )

When wasn't it a race car?

thanks alot, seriously i mean it, alot of time effort and a few quid went into this!

at least it's one less 6n2 that would of been broken/scrapped and one more happy chappy 8-)

Great work dude! Amazing turn around :D

Where abouts in Plymouth you living this year? Will most likey see me around as i'm living near the uni now haha

Thank you so much, it means alot 8-)

I'm literally just behind Cuba this year haha, where about are you?

and have you noticed how many done up cars there are in Plym?! they're everywhere haha

What a fantastic motor you have there, this is what I'm hoping to get in a year or so's time when the insurance is a bit more affordable for me.

I wouldn't slam it, driven 2 6n2 GTi's that have came in as trade cars at work (1 slammed, 1 with stock suspension) and the ride quality with coilovers on these just isn't as fun. And for what you've put into this you deserve all the fun you can get out of it.

again, seriously, thank you so much guys! what is your current insurance like matey? (what car? engine size? with who? etc.)

exactly what i've read time and again! i dont wanna ruin my ride comfort *that* much :-/

all i want is a fresh look, and that is what i am aiming for; like at GTI international, i was wowed by a stock lupo with 110k on the clock, it looked brand new!!! seriously amazing

thanks man 8-)

£120p/m on a 1.2 9N Polo, 02 plate.

That's with Direct Line, but it is my first car.

So in February I'll have 1yrs no claims, then give it a little while after that once I'm 21 and I'll see how much insurance on a decent 6n2 or 6n2 GTi would set me back. For now I'm starting to do some bits and bobs to my 9N.
