I'm just wondering if putting a secondary battery into the box where i plan to build a sub enclosure would be that hard, like how do i connect the sub and i was thinking of lining the boot with red led lighting which connects to 12v so is it just a simple case of sticking a battery into the boot and connect the power leads onto the battery or is it a lot more complex than my simple mind thinks!! thanks

You would have to fit a bigger alternator to the car as it would drain ..

Is there much need for another battery ??

The sub will run fine off the origonal batt :S lmao

You could fit the trickle chargers campers use to change their second battery.

Not sure what they're called but you'll be able to pick one up from big boys toys or cool air.

You'd need a split charging system otherwise your new batt will just drain.

This is a good point to make, is your reason for doing this so you won't have any big wires coming through the car, cos like harris says you'll still have a battery wire feeding through.

NO i was more thinking of using the secondary battery for stuff like ice and lights and perhaps wiring to a boot popper. But I'm a novice this is my first car i only bought it last month so i was just wondering what it involved. Cheers guys anyway i think it'll just be easier to stick with the one battery under the hood rather than putting another one in the boot
