heres an idea.. pay £5 for membership, recieve COLOUR sticker of your choice( to tell between members and non members + membership card in post!

then have a secret section on here that only paid members can see, and have an online yearbook! no more postage fails, free to put up, and we can see it when we want!

Funny you should say that. iirc, stickers used to be produced in white and silver, one for forum users, one for club members. an online yearbook would be good. i cant remember the cost of production for a vast quantity of booklets but i know it wasnt cheap.

ah really?

i was thinking colour sticker of your choice for members

silver sticker in the shop for non members

as it would help at shows/events ect.

plus so you can tell if there still members rather than just leaving a sticker on for a couple years, put the year after the clubpolo.co.uk so its like clubpolo.co.uk-2012 or something

yahh online yearbook i was thinking would solve alot of moaning! then again it dont have to be a yearbook i suppose, they could put someone in charge of it and have a sort of clubpolo highlights thread every 3 months or something so its more regular as a yearly thing youll look at once and then probably not bother again.

:)

PLUS, with the money saved from not forking out on yearbooks, more money could be put towards events such as poloshow, rr day ect ect!

Hummm, I wont it to be different and better than any of the others before. Content is more important than looks man, but to have both will be a achievement, as people say "things can only get better from there onwards".

I Like the idea of having it online? Say in a PDF? Like a online copy of Fast car kinda thing. But I still think it should be brought say £1? to be able to download it, Leaving contact address, Get posted a sticker? How does that sound? Save's the club paying out on the paper/printing and have a longer time to produce as its computer base? More pages, better content, More idea's!! I THINK ITS A WIN!!!!!

Hows that idea? - Thanks erixtar

Cheers K03 - The help is appreciated (Getting taken serious for a change XD ahaha)

Keep them coming in!!!

I like the logic man, Good thinking. Personal win, Just hope the Admin's can justify the forum supporting PDF Sharing/ extra money transfers?

I'm not sure on paying for the yearbok, as its included in the membership price, and it attracts people to become members. but well see what they say :)

Well, You would pay £1 for being able to download it (So you cant just read it nilly w*lly) then the pound will made into a sticker posted out to the invoice address. This sticker would be a outside 1 :D

Having it online actually sounds like a good idea.

What would everyone be interested in seeing in a year book?

The point is Liam that members already qualify for a paper yearbook. Take that away at your peril. Or clubpolos.

But by putting it in as, say, a pdf in private message to all members, that'd omit printing and postage as (as i said is becoming inevitable in this age), freeing up the finance and labour to offer a better yearbook in software format.

Fuck paying more for it when i'm a member. I don't mind paying more for the shop (T-shirts, mugs, keyrings, that sort of thing) but the yearbook is a summary of information and celebration that i as a member should be entitled to.

Thats that sorted then, No cost, But online PDF File? In a private section for club members? or access by all members? Like the club house? OR Members only Section?!!

A monthly read would be ace, like "hot build threads" up and coming events or a review of previous one etc, club members on a mailing list

Would involve in a lot of somebody's time to make 1 every month to make it good. With a yearbook say 20 pages would take 1month of solid work on it to get it to a crisp/stylish standard but you have 9 months? To get it right. I made a BMX video, Took me 3 days to get the footage, but editing took me nearly over 2 months to make it look good.

I'll smash off a monthly flyer in an eve, content beats looking pretty

ahah, I like that lol. So whats every 1 saying? Online? Free to club members?

When should it be released? Close to the end of the year? Or like September time?

To be honest, the ideas the staff have is that I will once we have the forums sorted out.... is we will have some sort of front page news and gallery etc etc so having monthly art work, wall paper of the month calender month draws etc etc.. so nothing will be done untill forums are sorted out..

We are the new mods...sorry guys

Harris for admin.

Yeh, online for members only, with either monthly or 3 month updates. I think 3 month updates would be best.

Then at end of the year put them together whilst adding a little more and make it a yearbook, then start the next years.

So for ex over 2012 a yearbook would be put together each quater of the year which members could see, then when thats done put it all in one and delete the quaterly updates and just have the one yearbook as 2012 and then start the 2013 thread.

Get what I'm rambling on about?
