Hate me if you want but... I don't think it's a complete abomination.

It's not a looker, obviously, but there's at least some effort to use the kit to bolster the factory lines. I've seen worse.

I also love the standard rado look too but if they were all kept looking standard they would eventually lose their appeal

with a nice colour paintjob thatd look epic!

I personally don't like it, but looks like its had a lot of effort and time put into it, not to mention money!

Really looks like it's been put together well at least. Lose the stickers and I think I would drive it!

I actually think it looks alright. Much better than a lot of other heavily modded cars I have seen.

My main gripe with that is that they seem to of done that thing where instead of lowering it they have extended the body kit about a foot to the floor ruining the kinda low slung proportions of the original car. Just look at how much skirt is between the door and the ground.

As said tho it does seem to have been done well and credit should be given for that

The whole 'using a kit to make your car look lower' thing is a bit of a myth - started I think by Max Power.

The kits are inspired by racing cars of of the time when these were really popular. For example:

If you wanted to get your car as low as possible, it'd be a shit load cheaper to buy a set of cheap coilovers than to extend sills and bumpers so much.

There are two ways to look at this.

Firstly that it's likely to have had no more spent on it than your average scenester Corrado with a couple of grand of air ride, a couple more of rims, some smoothing and a Plush retrim. The difference here is this doesn't look like all the others at a show (debatably that's not a good thing - but this stands out, and that's what the owner wants, just like those with all the expensive scene bits on their cars)

I'm not knocking the standard scene style - mine looks like every other OE-style G40 out there and I like it that way - but not everyone wants that sort of style. Ploughing thousands of pounds (or Euros, in this case) into a Corrado to get attention at shows is arguably a "waste of money" whatever you do to it.

and that CRX, I love it when people buy aftermarket bumpers with twin exhaust recesses and proceed to run one exhaust... looks TIDY
