hi i got a set of coilovers for £50 put them on my car the back is fine but at the front is making a grinding noise does anyone know for a convertion plate so the struts will fit

Aren't 6n and 6n2 coilovers different? On the front I mean.

different top mount and different actual springs IIRC but I'm sure there is a method to adapt them.

yeah the top mount on the 6n and 6n2 are different

you will have to get a larger spring for the fronts, some coilovers come with both for 6ns and 6n2s, mine did
