Matt-c, replacement Polo...

Featured Replies

Alright - as people may remember not long a go i had a mk3 coupe but thats now sold and i have this,

Its a pretty gutless 1.4 8v but its pretty nice to drive and completely different to the mk3 in a good way.

It has a few issues i need to sort out main one being a gear box and also a new black front bumper. If anyone has one let me know please, thanks.

I appreciate it needs to go lower on the front but the coilovers are pretty stuck, as they were on from the previous owner but anyway photos are more fun:

Day after i got it

Decided too put some polished ats cups on - not my favorite wheels but i like it :D

As stated before lows when they can be physically adjusted, and i didn't put the red gti trim but i like it so its staying.

Comments and many criticisms welcome ;)

Looks smart!! I got a 1.4 8v 6n but I thought it was quite nippy... But then again i did come from a 5door 45bhp corsa :smirk:

Things planned:

New or resprayed front bumper

Cheers dude! You going to poloshow? I wanna have a nose at yours anyway,

Just wish it was as nippy as my mk3 - suprised yours is still for sale mate!

I will probs be going but I'm getting a 03 BMW 316 2.0 16v ;) but if i still have the polo i shall pop down in that :)

I am suprised aswell, i dont think 1k is to steep aswell for what it is tbh. If i go polo show it will be hoing on the rollers see what it is, I'm gutted i never managed to get it on carbs but hey will soon have 143bhp in the rear wheels :unibrow:
