As i explained in my last thread. The silver widearch 6n had serious problems, it'd been crashed into from the rear passenger side, which had twisted the car. I didn't know this untill i put my boot and doors on, which after 2hours, wouldn't line up.

It also had a rust issue in the drivers floorpan, which i was going to fix, but the way it was twisted to a nice person finished it for me.

So, i picked this up today. It has a crease in the rear quarter from where someone incorrectly flared the rear arch. It also has a misfire and the standard suspension is fucked. These are not problems though, as the plan is to 1.8T it, fit my air and get some properly fitting wheels, none of this silly bollocks 'i want to be different' stuff yet. Already has a smooth front bumper, but i'm thinking of deleting the rub strip too.

Ha, sorry bro. Work on it starts when i wake up, won't be a massive amount of work, as i'm waiting for the deposit on my wheels to be sent so i can buy the big part. Hopefully pay for wheels at the end of this coming week and adaptors the week after. Still waiting for my front bags to turn up too, long wait, but they'll be worth it! Time for some balls out i think.

Yeah bags are handy as fuck can be silly low but pratical at the same time which means them so good

I got it for less than a brand new airbag for one From a mate of mine. I haven't worked out the wiring for the airbag yet, but i intend to within the next week or so! I have a non flat bottom mk6 golf gti wheel if you're interested

Wheels = Ordered! Still awaiting my front bags to turn up, not gonna bother fitting any kind of wheels or suspension untill they have! Started stripping my front bumper down today to smooth the fucker, i hate those damn rubstrips after having a hybrid on my 6n i've become quite attached to the completely smooth look.

Wheels will be here friday, gonna order tyres on friday too as its payday. Good chance this'll actually come together quite fast if i keep the finger pulled out my arse ha.

Ha. Cheers boy's. Wheels come friday, not the colour i ordered mind you, but the right wheels none the less, they may work in this colour, they may not.. Arch to rim time. Need some tyres though, either 165/50's or 175/50's

what size u going for mate 8's?? if your are like on the front of mine your best option id say is the 165's i know you'll be on bags but you will have that little bit more clearance on the arches when you drop and also they look miles better

I would but after todays EXPENSIVE purchase, 175/50 is what i'll be going for, maybe 185/45 for abit more width.. They're 8.25J i'll upload a picture tomorrow possibly.

Its a non flat bottom GTI wheel, no airbag or airbag cover. I'd take £150, i paid for more than that for it lol.

shame about no air bag :( Would of had it otherwise

You can get them with a air bag for £179 btw
