So I'm doing my modified legal quotes, thought to make it quick and for rough estimate go through the annoying fat guys website!

So id do the online quote then, as youve all probably seen a list of X amount pop up wih various numbers,

So the first one Elephant: 2things,

!. this is how all quotes are set out, In bold is say £1250 (wow that looks good),

I added £500 excess then it says compulsory is £250, which for some reason means i have a combined £750 excess then it says how much monthly and finally a total, which was to them the bold price + the excess!

Example:

£1250, Excess - vol:500,comp:250

monthly payments: x amount

Total £2000

....Why would i pay for my excess upfront?

2. Strangly through go compare i have this quote but if i go directly online, they say not enough info please ring up?

Realy strange hat i cant get a quote direct online but go comp can?

Correct me if i'm wrong but I THINK that 'total' is the total amount you would pay if you paid monthly? They add interest onto it if you pay in installments as opposed to all at once

So if you pay all at once - Total = £1250

Pay in installments - Total = £2000

Wow basic quote for sky £1100 will be ringing tommorrow

TBH everyone I know who has been with admiral has been screwed over when they have to claim. I'm with flux but I look around every year to save cash.
