think thats a good shout tbh lol

I've got a reg at home eric with the on it you can most prob have, I've been told i wont need any sort of restrictor etc with the t-peice method ...

Let me have a look at work see if i can whip you something to drop the pressure down abit :).. What size are your fuel lines again btw ?

what reg? as if its only a low pressure one the mechanical pump will probably just break it lol. fuel lines are 6mm.

trying to find somewhere around here that sells elecric fuel pumps as i cant wait for postage... gonna be a mission!

Well its a high pressure reg from what i remember ... The Dial was like 10bar or more .. fuck noes with out it beeing infront of me ..

If i get a spare minuite today i'll make a t piece which obv has fuel in and fuel out but the other part will be a screw which could regulate the pressure.. But even if i sent it out tonight, you wouldnt get it till tomorow or monday :/ ..

i need something this weekend lol :)

i was thinking though, wont a regulator just strain a mechanical pump? as surely it has to pump the same amount either way being driven off the cam?

Get a scrap motorbike tank and duct tape it onto the bonnet problem solved

do you have a scan of autodata for that?

i know its pikey, but to find out if to much fuel pressure is actually the problem is there a way of restricting the flow? like a pikey regulator? can i clamp the pipe or something?

i dont want to buy a regulator/facet pump if i dont need one.

and before ben starts, I'm trying to find out the problem, I'm not driving it like it.

A t-peice with a bolt in the uper part screwed down abit ? to restrict flow >???

No my Autodata only covers cars not hybrids

but if you can rig up a gravity feed, if it does'nt leak you will prove it's a pressure problem.

gravity feed?

as in like, some fuel in a bottle piped up to the carbs and held above it?
