My personal opinion the chrome just don't suit so looks a little weird but each to their own

Seems like your trying to hard to show the fact you have an intercooler, maybe just abit poking out the bottom would be better.

Does look a bit silly

Especially as its still pushing the bottom of the bumper out into a strange shape?

Surely it could have gone further back? and if not the cooler is too big and should be swapped with something that will fit, IMO.

fair play for getting a big cooler on but vw's suit the subtle look imo. looks like a clean car though
