6n & 6n2 bootlids help please!

hi I'm new to polos and just got my first car, does anyone know if the internals from a 6n boot lid (all the parts that attach to the lid itself i mean) can be swapped onto a 6n2 boot lid? wanting to start some modifying and growing my fabricating knowledge so any help would be appreciated
