Isnt it something like wrapping in a damp towel or something?... I know PS3's large ones you have to strip right down as i've done a few of them, I'm sure my boos either dropped his from waist height/ or wrapped in a damp towel in an airing cupboard, either way it's been fine for 2 years :)

yeah you can wrap them in towels but there is a permanent fix you can do i just cba to buy the bolts and stuff

its because the circuit board thing bends from the heat.

You can straighten it back out so itl work again. Dunno how though, my mate used to do it.

dry towel, by wrapping it in a towel or blanket and turning it on causes it to heat up and melt the solder to rebridge the connections, which works!

Yeah that's a temp fix, need to do that I just cba. But after a month or so it breaks again.
