MK2 Golf Driver Steels 14s: Need new tyres and a good powder coating the same colour., Over 200. I could just get tyres do the paint work when i can afford.

sell the borbets ,run the 13s then buy some euro 13's........but then what do i know i ran classics

What's your budget? Off you own them all sell them and get some you like with decent tyres

I might sell the Borbets, But they need 2 new tyres, I'll use the money from borbets to sort the steels!

Then for the MK2 Drivers i would do a propper job, Get them powdercoated like that but then i would keep them for time! So...

buy tyres off here

u need £200 for tyres anyway, sell borbets, put money together, spend £350ish and buy nice wheels with good tyres

Why would anyone sell a tidy set of alloys in favour of some shit steels just because some dick face said the alloys look 'chavvy'?

and fuck wasting money powered coating a set of golf steels, that would cost about five times more than the wheels are worth

Invest in some decent tyres and get your arches rolled, the car will look so much better for it. No matter how much effort you put into painting a set of OEM steels, it still just looks like you couldn't afford a set of alloys

plus, the design isnt THAT far off of guys wheels, and look at how it can look like if its lowered enough!

It hasn't even got to be slammed, just taken down enough to tidy it up a little so to speak, just get rid of some of that arch gap. Sure Alex had some wheels not a million miles away from these on his coupe of the same colour and it looked nice

With some 195/45's on it and rolled arches you might even be able to get some spacers on the rear to improve how they sit. I honestly don't think it would take a lot at all to get that looking very nice on those borbets

60-70 mill drop up front with 165/55's could even get away with 80 up front

I've run team dynamics motorsports on a coupe before because i liked the wheels. couldnt give a flying fook what other people think. its my carcand i pay for it so fook em.

I've thought about it, I will get new tyres for the Borbets, Then get them refurbed in a few weeks, Also get some new tyres for my MK2 Drivers for winter.
