Mk3 Golf Tdi *new Price*

Featured Replies

Make: VW

Model: Golf Tdi

Year/Reg: 1995/N Reg

Mileage: 157k

MOT: 12 months (Had it done mid last week)

Tax: 6 months

Good points: Right, i've owned this a fair few months now and its never skipped a beat. It's perfect for a daily that you can just get in and drive, hassle free. The last time i went to Santa Pod earlier in the year, i clocked a very respectable 66mpg so if it's fuel you want to save on, you'll definitely be doing that. It has been lowered on full coilovers, not sure what brand, but for how low they are, the right comfort is impressive, compared to other lowered cars i've owned. It has a straight through pipe on (which isn't an mot fail, just to let you know), it has a nice whistle coming from the turbo ;). Navy interior trim, navy dash, looks well smart. Mk4 golf steering wheel accompanied by a 6n2 gear knob and gaitor. The seats are full mk3 golf gti interior, in very good condition, apart from the little hole in the drivers seat bolster (see picture). It's also rolling on Borbet T's, 7's up front and 9's on the rear, the wheels are in overall good condition. The lips have scrapes on them, but i wouldn't go as far as saying they're curbed.

Comes with 2 keys.

Cambelt was changed at 132,242.

Full service history apart from a few years missed from stamp to stamp in the book, last service was done on 3/11/2011.

It will come with a set of gti door cards ready to fit and a spare rear boot carpet.

The mot failed on a little bit of welding to the n/s sill, n/s steering rack gaitor, a bulb and just re-grease the rear drums. All this work was carried out to the highest of standards at a garage my family and I always use.

Bad points: The 2 rear tyres are in need of replacement, this is due to it having camber, which i suggest you do pretty soon. The bodywork only has a few scabs here and there, and a few patches where the previous owner has tried to touch up the paintwork (see picture). Other than that it's sweet.

hey dude, I've got a vw mk3 polo Genesis, breadvan, 1300cc, 92k miles, 2 keys, Lowered 80/60mm on TA shocks and springs, new tyres, new exhaust, just been fully serviced by myself roughly 1k ago, does 410-480 miles to a tank, 6 months tax, mot november 2012, original car, on been lowered and maintained :)

previously owned by an old chap who collected classic car's (hillmans, porkers, beetles, mini's etc) so its been well looked after.

Part from a little bit of rust on the tailgate (seal on the windown caused this) and a little dent on the passengers quarter (can be pushed out) its straight and true.

Heres a picture of the girl.
