What are the inner and other diameters of the washers or cut down bar needed then? Need to know what to take with me when I get them fitted soon

adding to this thread again, is it a good idea to use coilovers on the rear and lowered shocks and springs on the front or is the difference in stiffness etc... noticable and hampers the cars handling?

i haven't yet fitted them as the front still needs lowering

Thats how my old one was. Was fine

Mine is like that now & is fine, i lowered the back before the front.. but put the coilovers as high as i could.. not sure if i like how 'Rigid' the coilovers are though..

Front is lowered now mind.. but yeah, can always swap back if you dont like it!

aaah right thats ok then! its just someone told me they didnt advise it, might get front ones in the future anyway

and i dont really mind it not handling like a race car or going super fast in general, i just want it to look cool haha

Better that way around. At least as far as leaning into a corner is concerned, you want the drive axle to have the least resistance. Best way is via anti roll bars. This way, even when a wheel lifts off the ground in an extreme corner, both drive wheels are still on the ground and maintain traction.

FWD you want it diving at the limit, RWD you obviously want the opposite so you stiffen the front axle instead so it sits on the back axle (That is except for the traditional governing of commercial vehicles, which are usually set up opposite to try and remove traction before you tip the thing over!)

Fitting my coils right now, what does the spacer on the top of the strut go between to space exactly? I've been told it goes: spring, cup, rubber ring, spacer, car, rubber ring, washer, nut. But that means the two rubbers don't clamp to the car as the spacer spaces them apart and the spacer adds no useful length surely, help!

well I'm home now left the car where i was working on it haha! can anyone explain the assembly procedure? :p
