Hello everyone

Sorry if this sounds abit odd... But was just wondering what offers/interest i would get for my polo. I'm at that point of thinking to sell it for a bike as at the moment i haven't got the money,licence or enough money to carry on doing the work iv started on it so far.

I really wouldnt want to see it go, i love it too much but its not doing any good just sitting outside my house doing nothing.

Heres everything about my polo.. :-)

Its a metalic red 1998 polo 6n (on private plates which are apparantly worth about 700 alone)

Has no tax or mot unfortunately (this is due to not having the money to do so)

has rust, what 6n dont Edit - No longer has rust! :)

small bit of rust on rear arch, one arch has been de-rusted and treated and has a layer of some sort of paint that stops rust returning (unsure of name lol)

rust on rear bumper

abit of rust on passengers bottom door (will get pics)

few scratches on car but doesnt affect how good it looks i bought the car like it

drivers door needs a new lock barrel

Has a flat battery at the moment where its not been used

tappets need adjusting

need new front wheel discs

I have recently put original wing mirrors on the car painted them gloss black as it had crappy m3 mirrors on it before

Also have got front and rear 16v bumpers to put on which are white at the moment

The car was used daily up until Novemeber last year, my boyfriend was driving it and now bought his own car so no longer in use

The car has been all over the UK with us and NEVER had a single problem.

It has done around 93,000 miles will look tmrw to say for certain

I recently took the side skirts off that it had on and found a hole at bottom of front wing so will need a new front wing

think thats about it.

I would say around £400. but I'm no good with values of cars etc!!

EDIT: car no longer has rust under the rear light, arches, door. but will admit we haven't done best of paint job on the arch, the boot etc is ok. Still got to paint one side of door as my boyfriend didnt see it cos when he was painting the inner bit door was open he didnt realise. what a muppet
