Hi I've got a polo 6n 1997 p reg

I want to take side protection strips off but don't know for definite if there is holes behind them?

think there just glued on duudeeee :)

just pure glue on the 6n :)

no holes to prat about with :)

Does take abit of effort to get the glue off though :/

Agreed! I thought it would damage the paintwork on my old Mondeo but just made the job so much easier.

Previous owner started to take them off the Polo but the NS door has had paint at some stage and has a nice outline where the bumpstrips were masked off so had to be refitted.

Was it a different color under Neath? If it is the same color you could lightly wet sand the area the polish .
