VW2 calipers from a 6n. What brake hoses do i need to fit to a mk2?

Featured Replies

Right needed new brakes on the front of my bready so went and took the whole lot off a 6n. The 6n discs are the wrong offset so will need to buy g40 ones. What flexi brake hose fits though? the thread is different on the caliper to vw1 :(

I think i may have the same problem as this. I bought some VW2's but my flexi hoses wont fit them. I think the only way would be to have custom ones made up, as that appeared to be the conclusion when i asked the same question some months back. In which case it would be cheaper to head down a scrappy and pick up ones that will fit.

Hoping that the flexys from the 6n will join up to my solid brake lines. Will go back tomorow and have a look.

Search function. I asked this a few weeks ago.

Tried the search function before hand. It sucks to be fair. How about a link or some useful information?
