Hi all, Dan here from Northern Ireland :) Been on here quite some time but never got the chance to put up a build thread, will try my best to make it as informative as possible from when I first purchased the car until now

I have owned my 1.4 16v 6n2 for quite some time now, bought it from Bristol almost two years ago and spent thousands on it since then..

Some of you may already know the car from being at shows in England, I have attended Ultimate Dubs 2011 and 2012 and Edition 38 2011

Brief spec list when I bought the car included:

1.4 16v engine with polished rocker cover

Electric windows/mirrors/sunroof

Stubby mirrors

Smoothed front bumper with splitter

Black front and rear badges

Coilovers

De wipered

Full leather interior

DOTZ brand hatch dark 15s with VW centre caps

Hella LED rear lights

Bee sting aerial

Pressed plates

HID kit (6000)

Crystal headlights and indicators

Gti grill with painted red strip

Disc brakes all round

Uprated tweeters

Then I fitted my BBS RMs:

Then skip to Ultimate Dubs 2011 where the car was obviously lowered, car had a few bits sprayed, arches were flared and rolled and car got a full paint correction. Few photos from then:

I then entered Dubshed 2011 in Belfast where I managed to pick up Runner-Up polo :)

Modifying was quiet for a while until I was getting the car ready for Ultimate Dubs 2012 where a lot of changes were made to the car. Some changes included:

US Spec front bumper with extended strip and markers

Genuine Jap Spec rear bumper with square pressed plate

Gold bolts and black/gold BBS badges (rare apparently)

LaminX front headlights and carbon effect vinyl over front fogs

New front and rear chrome VW badges

Red strip on front grill was sprayed satin black to tie in with theme of car

Momo Team 280mm steering wheel

Few panels were resprayed due to stone chips etc and car got a full detail to freshen the paint up

I then attended Dubshed 2012 in Belfast, Northern Ireland where this year I managed to pick up Show and Shine Runner-Up :)

MEDA - wheels are 7.5j up front with 165/45/15 tyres and 8j at the rear with 185/45/15 tyres :)

So tonight I was raising my car for MOT and noticed this...

Turns out that when I had my car fully down on my coilovers the driveshaft had started to notch the chassis..who needs to do it when your driveshafts can do it for you haha WIN!

I was selling mine at one point and ended up changing my mind lol

Looking into buying two front seats for the car, hope to have them before going over to Edition38 in September as long as funds allow..watch this space!

All this needs is a set of GTI xenons and it will be prefect :)

Have been looking into them doyler, could be purchased on down the line a bit! :)
