  • After a lot of debating..some of you may be glad to hear, i'm keeping the car for another while yet! Time to go a bit track spec me thinks!

looking into getting a set of brides and make the car really stand out from the rest as well as remove the rear seats and add a false floor and strut brace/cage :)

..anybody know of what way they mount onto the standard polo rails and if lower seat rails can be made up for them? Have seen brides in a 6n2 before and they seem to sit quite high :/

Going to place an order in the new year for some shiney new radinox dishes!

Also if I have the money I will be buying a set of brides and hopefully a cage for when the car is stripped out, either that or a rear strut brace! Anyone know of any going for sale?

Hope it's all worth it in time for Ultimate Dubs!

There nice wheels.....

I would have loved to face mount them. they would require a centre machining on the back to hold the barrel and dish! DO IT <3

Your who I bought them off yes? Lol

Yea have found out about the part needs machined..have you got a pic of it done before so I know what exactly to get machined?

Payment was sent this evening for a set of all black Bride Zeta 2's :)

Will take 3-4 weeks to arrive sadly

Hope to look into getting a set of super low seat subframes made up soon also..hope someone can do them!

So to allow me to face mount my set of BBS I will have to machine the centres slightly..

The bit of blue marker will need machined right round the face to enable the dish to sit in flush against it so that the wheel isn't relying on the bolts solely holding the wheel together..better safe than sorry lol

And yes that's my revision in the background...exams suck! :(

Payment had been sent for my Brides :)

This means my gti leather interior is up for grabs..includes front and rear seats (no door cards or looms for heated seats)

In good condition all round, few marks as expected but a lot better than some I have seen previously on here

Make me offers people..will be up for grabs when my new seats arrive so gathering some interest!

Thanks Dan :)

Zeta's are comfy mate. Little bit wider than the Gardis i have for my driver but still really nice to sit in.

Wish my seats could go literally an inch lower tho!

Thanks mate..I was going to buy the vios low max but didn't like the red 'low max' emblem as it wouldn't tie in with the theme of my car!

Considering buying low bride rails and making them fit my car..would that be possible?

Sparco do a rail to fit their seats for the mk4 golf..wonder would they bolt to a bride the same as they would to a sparco bucket seat? That could be an option also!

Bride rails are too expensive to cut up man.

I'm running OMP frames in mine.. Golf mk3 frames will fit direct, mk4 wont without fabrication

If I were to take out my original frames and replace the whole thing with the bride subframe would that work?

Seen another lad on here with the blue 6n runs OMP frames..sit too high for my liking! :/

Might just get a plate welded up and bolt them straight to the floor without runners to make them sit low..don't really want to be doing that but might have to in order to get them sitting at the height I want them

Lol yes you are indeed..didn't even look at your username..my bad!

Yea going to go see a few people when my seats arrive and see if they can fabricate something..are your seats base mounted yes? If so their same as mine..think some brides are side mounted

If I find someone who can make them up for decent enough money or find any already made online I'll definately let you know no problem dude! :)

Yes I'll be there indeed! :)

Cool!! Any chance you know of any wheels for sale to suit a 6n2?? Up the north, not in England ha..

  • Author

No don't know of any off the top of my head sorry..try the likes of gumtree etc or the wheel and tyre section on here..if the right wheel pops up for the right money it would be worth paying for delivery from England IMO..my set of RM's were from Germany

One of the best 6n2 I've seen on here this! :)
