Hi this is my polo coupe 1.0 when i got it.

I have lowered it 40mm and put on some BBS RA wheels

Then added lower profile tyres and clear lights

fitted a mk3 golf splitter and a 1.3 thottle body and manifold

I have know lowered to 70/50 for more stance also added wind deflectors and a electric aerial

Fitted mk2 golf rear door handles today. Just hope my central locking does not pack up as i will be geting in the tail gate :-D

Got some / Camber \ on the rear :-)

Got some bike carbs They are a Mikuni with a 34mm bore i think they are off a 400cc. A friend had them on a 1380 mini but said they were to small and would be more suited to my 1.0L.

I am going to make a manifold, with the T peice fuel pipe to the carbs. I have just got to work out some sort of throttle.

I have heard that you can keep the MK3 ignition and just set the dizzy to full advance but it will have a rough idle or i might get a throttle position sensor to fit on the carbs so i still have electronic advance.

Just got a new rocker cover still needs a bit more of a polish but should look good with the bike carbs. Also need to drill a hole and fit a breather pipe.

I have nearly got everything for the bike carbs. Manifold should be done this week.

just sorted the T fuel pipe and a throttle cable. also got a GT dash on its way

What tyre sizes did you go for the RA's? looks smart, a few bits an pieces i find a little OTT but thats me being picky. Can i ask why you've added camber to the rear?

Thanks, they are 165/55/15 on the RA's.

My other car is a 61 beetle Slammed with loads of rear camber so i had to have some Camber on my daily drive :-D

Fitted the rocker cover today, welded a ally pipe on for the breather.

Polo cleaned and ready for Stanford hall Show Tomorrow :-)

Yeah it just the standard mk3 golf splitter there only £15 on ebay. It needs cuting down to fit the polo bumper but fits good.

Don't get the VR6 splitter otherwise it will be sitting on the floor if your car is lowered :-D look at mine on the kurb.

I am going to fit bike carbs soon and then maybe a GT cam and a 4 branch exhaust. Might even lower it a bit more :-D

Where did you get the wind deflectors from? been nosing about for some for a while but never manage to find them.

I got them of ebay they are proper Team Heko ones. Just search on ebay for Polo coupe wind deflectors i think they are only about £25

Its my dads t25 was in Ultra VW mag a few months back.

So am i looking forward to getting the carbs on hopfuly in a few weeks time :-D

I have been thinking of getting a new set of wheels. I think the 15" look a bit big.

What wheel do you guys think would suit my polo. Want somthing with a bit more poke but not loads of money :-)

Riped my splitter off today Thats the third one this year, think i might have to live without one.
