hello I'm rob and I'm 16 and i have been working in a body shop for 2 years now and one day this beauty turned up!a mk2 polo breadvan

I bought it for £250 knowing that there was holes underneath but my boss whois a decent welder is sorting them for me! style_emoticons/#EMO_DIR#/razz.gif

The bodyshop i work for specialises in aircooled volkswagens doing mechanical and body repair. for me its my dream job as a v dub enthousiast

my boss has orderd me to slam it and smack on some ats cups haha i picked them up for a resonable price too!

I've got in the back of my polo ready to go on when we get the chance!: Headlight and spot light grill 60/40 lowering kit, 15" ats cups (New Rear Arches To Be Widended ) groved disks and ebc pads with goodridge hoses and a new 6n chrome rocker cover to tart up the engine bay abit. I've been saving for ages to be able to afford a vdub i hope you like it as much as i do!

just got to get an MOT on it first becuase the holes are structual:)

No it was a dark blue originally, I prefure the yellow to dark blue a little Diffremt and my boss thinks its a good job it's been sprayed inside and out really well so? Only think I might do it black the roof

I put my spotlight grill in today and hopefully getting my new arches in on thursday!

And maybe lower the front end atleast! So all in all the polos comming together!

Lowered the front and it looks decent! Selling my cups though

Just got a red gt badge for the front and sorted out an imboilser, anyone got any idea how to wire up the spot lights as I bought a little dash switch for them this afternoon?

Be carfull with adding to much black .. Mates got a civic with black roof and wheels etc.. Looks like a taxi haha :p

I'm not sure about the spots but the previous owner was a man and he had it for 3 years in the bristol area

No it was previously sprayed,

I have a gt cam and head to soon be sitted but I'm replacing all the seals and gaskets in and for the head. I'm serously looking into moving the washer bottle and having a top fill rad but i need more info so if anyone could help me i would be very greatful! I cant make sence of other peoples posts

I've just taken apart the head and removed all of the seals, run iver the face of the ead with abit of scotch brite and now just lapping the valves shouldnt be long before i have a 1l gt. i have a gt cam and gt head what other little moda can i do that arnt so noticable to insurance companies

big leap, turning 17 in jan means I've been on my car most week ends, I've lowered the back of my car now sitting 60/40 and bought a polo c spoiler and all the welding been complete with a mot!

its had pretty much the rear chassis legs re-welded and a new arch and repair the other one holes under the floor and up the front.

battered out and filled down both arches primed one side awaiting primer on the other

the dent in the roof was blocked over and filled but to no avail, i have to have that one unless i spend days popping the roof in and out

its stilling around level at the moment but i wouldn't mind dropping it a little more on the front what you recon?
