Bit of an update, just bought some golf coilovers modded to fit a polo for the front and some mk1 rear coilovers got a mint condition glove box aswell and cleaned all the interior, I also have a new headlining to put in, anyone know anything about the headlining? Also after some new wings and flare the arches a little because mind are f**ked, some reason after fitting arb blocks my wheels scrape the arch so bad on the front, I'll take it for lazer allotment after fitting the new coilovers, hopefully sort it out,

I have so many bits to put on widened and flatted out my new wings so now scrubbing but after trying to test wings on the car found out there a fair but of rust and the wings have never been removed factory sealers still holding them on, bonus? Also took a great delivery off stinky Pete so my car should be running a lot better on a set of bike carbs,

Also collected some near mint condition rubbers for the doors and windscreen off runforestrun a true gent,

But on the way home from doing a few lifts the clutch cable snapped.. 2 days before the mot runs out.. Fuck it always let's me down when I need it. Problems with running an old car I guess!

Oh well nothing hard to change I should get that done in the next week,

Cheers for reading

That engine bay is amazing. Wish I have mine like that. I need to get some courage (and money) to get the engine bay of mine Polo real clean and simple.

Haven't really driven the polo much, I fitted coilovers to stop my clunking and banging well that's stopped but the coilovers I fitted have fucked wheel bearings that I wasn't told about previous, and it's seemed to be fine when I checked them all over, also after fitting them they were way out steering was horrendous so I had it optilined, and found out the caster angle is out side to side, after abit of pondering and speaking to a few people I fitted a new arb and blocks and it seems to be all good, just trashing it about at the weekend then it cuts out, and carried on all the way home.. Every time I over come something it's something else! But hopefully I'll have the carb set up Monday and it will be alright,
