hey everyone,

just got my first car and obviously i chose a polo its only a little 1.0 but i dont mind i still love it :)

this is how i bought it, not done anything to it yet.

needs a good clean, not to bad outside but inside needs cleaning.

i have fitted a rclick central locking kit and am going to colour code the bump strips pretty soon.

my plans for now are:

sound system

new alloys

coilovers

gti grill

gti lights (maybe angel eyes)

gti splitter

and a good detail inside and out

so let me know waht you think and any idea's / tips would be appreciated :)

yeah i know its just the usual boring mods but thats just for now, when i get some more money ill start and think about some plans :)

I've got a 2 problems what are really annoying me and was wondering if someone could help me out

i was messing with the car the other day and spotted a crack in the joint under the light, so like a idiot i was poking around at it and a chunk fell out

Could this just be filled or would it just crack from the vibration? and has anyone else had this problem.

my other problem is I've got some wired lines under the clear coat on the rear bumper

its hard to see but there are very thin lines across one side of the bumper, you carnt feel them so i dont think its cracks. i was thinking that maybe its from reversing into something slowly putting pressure on the bumper and splitting the paint underneath. it could be caused by something completely different but i dont know. does this need to rubbed down and re painted ?

on the good side of things :)

i am at college at the moment so money is holding me back alot. but hopefully I've got a decent job so if i do get it i will have a much better budget for the car and wont take anywhere near as long to save up 8)

so i will be getting some new alloys ASAP!

i want your opinions on these 2 sets :

( i know there on a fiesta but it was the best/closest picture i could find just for a reference.)

cades eros

my guess is most of you will prefer the eros, but I've seen them in person and they didnt look as good as on the internet :/

or maybe one of these?

tidy base, the bit under the rear light is very very common, the bumper looks like the paints cracked maybe bumped and wheel wise i think cades got some limited edition cade eros stealth for sale

i wasent sure if they would work because there more a "chavvy" alloy in my opinion but i quite like them becasue of the lip

I think lenso's are definetly borderline chavy. cades are a good option

very nice, i love a 6n2 in white, dont see them all that often!

I got the same car dude get Cades Eros 15" thats what i put on mine they dont look bad :)

For a start, it looks really clean on the outside, don't see many in white, looks well!

I had the same problem with the fine cracks in my rear bumper, not sure how it happened tbh, I just ended up getting a jap spec rear bumper so didn't really bother me, I think getting it sprayed is your only option sadly :/

As for the wheels, not too sure on the first two sets you put up, don't look well on polo's IMO, I'd take the plunge and go for a set of BBS RM's or RS's, can't go wrong with them dude if its dropped and wheels are spaced properly in the arches! :)

it looks alot more like"bright white" in person :)

also just orderd led bulbs for numberplate, interior and boot 8) had to order a new numberplate bulb holder though because dirt had got inside and looked crap!

and, yeah my boot light dosent work... (i didnt even think i had one till i looked lol)

there is power coming to the wire becasue i checked it with a multimeter and the bulb is fine, so ime guessing it is not grounded properly??

anyone else had this problem?

and do any of you guys know the paint code for my car because this is what my sticker in the boot looks like :(...... no help at all!

you could always just use some touch up paint for the bit that chipped out, and the bumper is just where the paint has cracked a bit, could maybe flat and polish out a bit but will come back, for the paint code ring up VW and give them your reg

As for that crack , mines like it too , its just old sealant thats gone brittle so just re fill it

Buy some Dare Drs...they go for like 345 inc postage on ebay and are 1000000x better than lensos.

I ran some on my old lupo and people constantly commenting if they were real or not, good reps are good.
