Liams 6n2 Yellow CC (She's been arround the block a few times)

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Have a little look at my 6n2 colour concept.

Plans:

Get interior sorted... Re-dye leathers, Headliner, Pillars, Carpets...

Wheels... DEEP DISH

Get outside sorted: Arches, sill, bumper repaired / Painted And get it buffed.

Maybe some sort of engine conversion later on.

After buying the car from a member on here I've not managed to get much done so far in regards to cosmetics...

Been sorting out all the bits to get it mechanically sound.

But yesterday I decided to get a few more bits done to her!

So far I've only managed to get the petrol cap painted black. The one on the car when I bought it was hanging off.

And just been spraying random bits and bobs from the dash and other bits of the interior. And had a go at doing the headlining.

I'll just let the pictures do the talking for now... I'll update and re-word the thread better as i go along.

Thanks,

Liam

Thanks. :)

The headliner is easy to take out... just remove sunvisors, handles, few other bits... And it drops down.

The sunrood runner was a pain... it's held in via a metal frame. Instead of unbolting it i decided to pull it back and smash it with my hand! did the trick...

But i guess i could have damaged something. Not sure till i put it all back together. Not sure when that'll be as it's back with VW tomorrow to all been well get this bloody oil leak sorted.

Just a rubber seal round the flap and a metal ring. pull out the rubber and it'll loosen the entire thing.

looking good :)

get those B-pillars wrapped or sprayed in black ;)

loving the whole headliner thing  my cuz is doing the same thing with his mk4 golf

shame about not having the colour concept BBS wheels :( they look so smart  rare also

all in all; sweet motor ;)

Down cornwall for a few days... got some updated pictures with the headlining installed and had to re-spray the bit over the spedo as the sun was reflecting far to much. so was done again with matt black but gloss lip...

Cleaned the inside a little. Also, did the headlights too... Just some standard sandpaper and some halfrauds rubbing compound. Not all that good but 100x better than when it was.

On the hunt for some nice deep dish wheels now. Not sure what i want to be honest... but will know when i see them! I was looking into some ford wheels but after getting spacers and adapters for it it'll start to cost a bit....

Anyways, Pictures in no real order.
