Long story short, new carbs dont fit the old manifold. Short on time and money so went for some flexible silicone hose for the joiners rather than a new manifold, which require some stabilisers for the

carbs.. otherwise this happens

Just need to set up fuelling as it wont behave at all, and hopfully make it to gti!

Nah which is shit, because the manifold like dog legs on 2 of the runners to accomidate the old carbs which were quite offset to the inlets on the head man.

I've made up brackets now which eliminates pretty much most of the movement on the carbs, just needs fuelling setup now.

New manifold next month i reckon

Get a base plate and measure your carb spacing and I may be able to make a manifold appear in your possession.

could come round after the assessment day on monday if your on earlies and do it then.. but cant get a baseplate by then :(
