1972 Vw Type 3 Fastback

Up for sale is my 1972 vw type 3 fastback in eye catching yellow!

The body of the car is in really good condition unlike other fastback at this age. All the floor,sills,and heater channels are solid the only main rot is passenger door! the interior is also in great condition, all standard and original and free from any tears or rips. The only bits which are not orginal is the cd/iPod player and a cigaret lighter. There are a few surface spots here and there but all repairable. Don't let this put you off the car is really presentable! you can get a door of ebay for around £70.It has the standard wheels on with new Avon tyres and has been lowered allround 60mm.

Mechanically the car runs spot on. The engine has recently been taken out (around 4 weeks ago) and had an over-hall new seals, pushrod tubes , rocker covers, and air fillters I've also had it properly tuned and it pulls a great 64 bhp! the engine does not run lumpy or rough at doesnt cut out. as you can see from the images below, the engine is pretty much in mint condition. There's loads of history with £4300 being spent at machine 7 alone. I've also fitted new front breaks. Mot till April next year and tax is free all in all it's a great car really reliable. I just drove this to Germany about 10 days ago in it looking like a taxi ( stickers will be removed) and it ran spot on, traveled over 1000 miles and the car gave me no problems at all and ran like a dream!

Overall its a great little car, its cheap to run, low insurance and its tax exempt! It catches everybody's eye where ever i take it! reason forsale is that I'm now after a family car as I've got two little ones.
