alright guys,

its a 1.3 mpi engine code NZ with removed lambda,

here pics anyway

i got it pretty standard so its been lowered 80mm front and 50mm rear

put some flyeyes and a golf splitter on too.

the biggest problem i had with this car was

can you guess?

so i decided to get a straight through and fit a cherry on the back

my steering was also a bit loose so thought i might aswell change all the bushes and how glad i am for doing so!

i ended up changing all of them and fitting g-lad arb blocks but haven't got a picture of these

now a game of spot the difference,

if youve guessed they are R5 mirrors, this was just a trial fit before they got sprayed black, will swap them for some mirror blanks if anyone has some?

i also got a mountney but haven't fitted yet because I've lost my gear puller to get the adapter off

i then got some rims!

bit of a random urge i had

but dont worry, they have long gone!

in this picture you can see the rust spot on the door and the dimple in the rear end where it spun out on oil so the police say but i think they was just being nice, anyway with it spinning out it hit a road works sign and the rear right wheel smashed off the kerb and ripped the stub axle clean off so its actually fitted with a gt rear beam now

18x8j AZEV A, now have 195/45 on and wobble bolts

some 14x6j BBS NA off a mazda but have had the centres bored to vw, i just can seem to find centres caps for them that fit!

and some cookies

this is the sort of fitment I'm lookin for

forgot to say I'm not really happy with the car at the moment so this is why I've made a build thread to hopefully get me going!

i haven't really got many plans until the wheels are on but after wheels i want to find out a way to make a rear window louvre

and MORE LOWS!!! but will get things like bodywork, interior and engine done over time

seen you post pics of this on edition in the polo section, front end looks moody like mine i like the big trim look too, works well!

got a mountney on mine too, yours an 11" or 12" one? looks small that!

also you got the pair of r5 mirrors? and all modded ready to fit? i want some blanks are easy to knock up, just get some mirror mounts from one thats being broken and sand/smooth/fill them then spray them :)

thanks, i just never really thought it was worthy enough to put on the internet and still dont, but i was trying to go for that dark look

its 11" the smaller the better ??? lol i wanted find a gokart wheel and adapt it to a boss just for shows though!

yeah they're on the car atm, i just smoothed the backs down a bit to fit better but I've removed the manual adjusters for them aswell, is it hard to cut down the base because isnt it made of metal? i would try it if i can find my dremmel,

theres alot worse things/cars on the internet yeah i found this pic a few months back, such a cool look:

mines the 12.5" or 13" one cant remember which, its a nice size though, i could easy use a smaller one

who needs adjusters anyway? one of mines has broke and now the mirror is floppy haha yeah they are metal i forgot, just get a piece of metal or plastic cut to size and then sort out how its held in, I've never taken mine off so i dont know how they do but you probably know, willing to sell?

that is so nice! What i want really is the number plate recess removed so its a full bumper if that makes sense,

i just think the mountney suit the mk3 so well, its just parking can get annoying

yeah i think i could do that actually just need some of those plastic base bits and something flat, i will be selling them but not just yet but i will talk to you 1st when they are :)
