Sorry guys i know this is a polo forum but can anyone help.....

I've recently had 2 weeks off work and locked myself away in my barn to body drop my MK1 Rabbit. So I've been looking a the well know MK1 Bucket which was dropped, I've heard so much about the car and looked on loads of threads across the web and her a lot of story's bout this car....

Guys is there anyone out there that can please tell me what killed this car in the end?

Any info on this car would be great.

It had engine problems (cracked head) and then Rick cut it into tiny pieces.. RIP ;)

Hi buddy thanks so much for the reply. How come he didn't sort the problem out I thought he loved the car? Yeah sure buddy as soon as it done I'll email them to you. Did u ever go in the car? Would like to no what the ride was like.lol

I've cut and raised turrets by just shy of 2" so I can still shut the bonnet okay, am customising my coil overs at the moment. I've cut and re-welded parts of the chassis as it was sitting in the rear beam. This has all been done to the best I can do am taking my time and not rushing.lol  

Am running 14" teardrops with a 195/45/14 and when off the trolly jack, scissor jack and two blocks of wood the arch sits just over the top of the rim covering the tyre.

I want a mk1 that 1 looks like it had a hard live lol
