I'm the mountney expert on here haha, nope it wont work

the two bosses are very different and you will have to remove the spline adaptor and get a mk2 polo traditional mountney boss like i did, or get a custom boss for large spline made up

So is a MK2f a small or large spline?

So confusing haha

very simple really haha! mk1 and mk2 are small (like golfs) but mk2 onwards are large spline, you remove it with a gear puller

you want a traditonal boss if you want an old school one like mine

Polo up to 1982 - dont be put off by the 82 bit its the same spline till the end of mk2 production

you will have to chop a bit of your old wheel off and fix it to the boss to retain the self cancelling and the horn is a little job to do too haha

a mountney m-range wheel would fit but the classics are much wider, i was thinkin of a bolt on adapter, same principle as a wheel adapter

Yeah, its an M range one I'm after, classic one wouldnt be right in a MK3. So this would fit?

Wouldnt mind the snap off bit.

you could have said it was a new one, didnt think anyone bought a new mountney  i dont know then haha

i want a team, but lets face it, this looks similar and i could buy the leather wheel, boss and snap off plate for less than a 2nd hand team

Although, the momo boss i have is a small spline... so useless for the coupe anyway

Why did they swap the spline from MK2 to MK3, douchebags!

Get a team!!! Had a 300mm in my mk3 now I've got a 280mm In the 6n2 sounds wierd but they feel so much nicer too hold than most wheels I've tried

Just my 2p sorry for the hijack

mountney wheels are dirty anyway!

think that was the 1st time i was right about anything!

Yeah you could get a snap off to fit

why dont you look at the raid hp range?

check this out!

this will fit your boss b-shore

Hate the flat bottom. 250mm too :o thats fucking tiny aha!

Gunna sell my momo boss and buy all mountney i think. Snap off bit is £40 though, sharnt bother with that :)

280mm wheel must be shocking in a road car

I'm going for a 320 i think.

Not a fan of stupidly small wheels, i think 320 is a decent in-between size.

It's fine to be honest i don't drive round like Hamilton so it's not a problem at all, although when I had the 300mm in the mk3 it kept slipping out my hands ( no power steering )

300 OR 320 I had in the metro, was perfect. 280 must be twitchy as fuck....

S'alllllllll gooood

I don't know what your talking about but i can guess

Toby did you see mine in the mk3?? That's a 320mm, it's a nice size.

280 must be twitchy as fuck; especially when running shit lowering suspension with massive amounts of bump steer.

And no power steering etc must be really nice also :)

Yeah, i saw it Yarris

320 it is then

Anyone want a small spline momo boss? PM me ;)

gona get all m-range or classic? because i didnt know they did a snap-off for the classic

my brother had a 280 in his vr6, it just didnt feel right with such a small wheel!
