Well my neighbour has just recently started this patterned dipping, don't know the proper name but thought I would post a few examples up as I was quite impressed, even had a go myself :)

We did the carbon look as its the easiest film to work with but he does others, I think it could catch on :)

Films placed into a temperature controlled tank of water, spray the activator and dip whatever into the film, you have to be really precise with the angle that you put it in though as it can cause blemishes. There are a few different patterns like - edd hardy, light carbon, water droplets, fire etc.

Iv been meaning to post videos of this for a while, it amazes me how it forms so well around complex shapes!

Under water videos are cool.

My friend recently tried it and within a couple of attempts was virtually spot on.

Yes I know what it looks like lol. I had a few mini bits in carbon. It looks a million times more real than 3m and the like.
