Coming home from work to flames and your town on fire was a true life experience

It still looks like this now, however the roads have been cleared and pathways reopened

I haven't seen any buildings like that all the ones i seen got levelled quite soon after :?

Yeah leveled mate yet it still looks like a warzone to me lol

haha its croydon so pretty hard to tell when there is isn't a riot

Oh England, you so silly.

Oh England, you so silly.

no problems in the civilised part.

Looney, I'm just off lombard round about, was scary shit mate. My work got hit pretty bad!

And yes the road still looks like this except they are big empty gaps, feel sorry for people who lost everything.

Damn straight it was scary stuff. The noise flames and people running around is still fresh in mind. Hope this never happens again

The Student riots were bad enough, I was sitting in the Temple Bar pub in Dublin, enjoying free drinks while watching London Fall apart.

If anyone has watching Casualty over the weekend i thought the script was in pretty bad taste giving that people are still recovering from those riots.

Oh England, you so silly.

BBC had the greatest news turn around ever, news headlines reporting on the "UK Riots" suddenly changed to "London/England Riots" after the rest of the UK went WTF.

again no such problems down here within a few miles of the gay capital of the UK.

Nothing happened here either, but then this is a largely white populated area and for some strange reason it didn't really seem to go off in places like that

It started in north london, a heavily white populated part of london then spread to the rest where south london got the worse :?

My biggest fear was for my polo    lol

Pretty sure the percentage of white british people arrested during the riots was only something like 18%

Which proves it was either mostly blacks smashing, burning or robbing shit... or whites are faster runners

Id love to see a breakdown in percentages of other racial ethnicities were arrested

As if 18% were white British what about the other 82%. lol.

Who ever it was, White people cant run ... fact

I don't see why race is the issue, the riots happened in deprived areas of poverty and low employment

Regardless of what race the people who took part are it shouldn't have happened at all

Race isnt an issue but i do sometimes like pointless statistics.

Are these the same poverty and low employment areas that can afford 50" Tv's, every game console under the sun and 5 kids etc. with no apparent source of income?

I love the uk benefits system, those who want to work get no help but its ok for someone to sit on their arse all day with 5 kids with 5 different women.

Remember that family with a huge house all payed for by the council in the news a few months back, new cars on the drive, lots of expensive entertainment stuff, they were counted as impoverished.

I agree with you completely mate all these lazy people sitting on there arse when there's people who genuinely can't work most jobs getting naff all but that's a whole other topic haha

TBH I'm still confused at what actually started the london riots :lol::lol:

Not just somebody. Police shot a gang member who pulled a gun on police when they tried to arrest him. Live by the gun, die by the gun.

Oh England, you so silly.
