Would the five door driver seat fit the three door model?

I need a spare seat and have sourced a five door model but mine's three door.

it would fit , just wouldnt have a tilt i presume

fit but dont tilt thats right, unless you fit a tilter to it xD

The seats are the same, it just won't have the handle and cable, although inside there are mounting holes for them.

If you look at the lower back of each seat you will see a hook either side lift these up an the seat will open. So all you have to do is swap over the handle and cable and it's the same.

Also where the hook goes there is a plastic bush which over time will wear out and cause the seat to have play back and forth, these are a few pence from vw and make a huge difference.
