6n Window Seal - Anyone Else Had To Replace Or Experienced Problems?

Featured Replies

Water leaking into car, not excessively but enough to warrant action.

Car fully stripped so thankfully not ruining door cards, carpet etc and water seems to be coming from the seal where the bottom of the window glass meets the door.

Anyone had this problem? Is it simply a case of replacing the seal?

Thanks

It's normal for there to be water coming through.

Is the door sealed? Ie are the opening where the window regs are covered?

If they are not then a cheap and easy fix is to get some plastic shearing from b&q etc and glue it to the door skin, this sealing it off. There should also be drain holes on the bottom of the doors to get rid of the water, it's worth checking these aren't blocked up.
