Hi guys,

I decided to take my R32 Skyline off the road for a while and so I bought myself a 2001 VW POLO one litre five door a few weeks back.

Its clean enough and has just under 70,000 miles on the clock.

Power steering and electric windows are all the extras it has... shocking how little the basic car comes with!

I'll get a photo up in a minute, I just need to upload some first.

I'm looking for inspiration, after years of big bhp japs, I'm back to working on the visual stuff...

How it looked after a good wash...

I bought some alloys for the polo from a vw loving friend up north, a set of FondMetal 14inch 6j ET30

wheels look sweet mate.

What are you palnning for it at the minute? :-)

Looks like a good base to start with, dropped wheels spaced this could potential be nasty

Its a white R32 GTST two litre turbo, it has a R33 gearbox, R33 GTR Brembo brakes all round, 18" 9j polished alloys, APEXI RSM, APEXI AVC-R, APEXI SAFC, turbo back exhaust system and a few bits done under the bonnet

As for the polo, I've looked about and haven't really seen a whole lot you can do to them.....

The alloys will need new rubber soon enough and I may drop back from 185mm to 165mm to give them a little stretch.

I'm not a fan of stretched rubber and stupidly low cars, I much prefer function- which I know may upset a lot of people.

So, any links or websites you guys can share to inspire me would be cool....

Haha must have been a big jump going from a big jap to a 1.0litre.
