Hi, I've got a Red 52 plate with 59000 on the clock, as a newbie I've been flicking through the forum looking at a few bits and bobs, mainly the mk6 polo's, just looking at what people have done with their respective cars.

I've seen a set of wheels I really like, and wonder if anybody can tell me what they are, and where can I get them !

They are on Gav9n 's polo I believe it's silver and the wheels are white, he's from N.Ireland.

If anybody can shed any light on those wheels that would b great !!

They look like banded steels

Found the answer on pg1 of his thread.

Thanks for that.

Where would I get them from ?

Without looking at the thread, best bet maybe to source a set of the wheels in their original form and then pass them onto a company that specialises in banding steels as then you can have them made to your own spec.

What do u mean by banding them ?

And I'm not sure but those wheels look similar to caddy steelies !

By banding, i mean the wheels are sliced down the middle and an extra width of steel added to make them wider. these kind of wheels are 'off the shelf' items and are all specially made.
