Looking to buy a jetta 1.3.. Everything else is spot on but when he sent me the engine bay pic you can see the wiring looms not got any tape on...

He did say when he gave it a blast under the engine a while ago it started peeling off..

But can that happen?.

That's nothing to worry about bud, some of the stuff vw use hose hard and brittle over time and can disintegrate if blasted with a jet wash. As long as non of the wires are damaged or are now dangling close to any thing hot or moving it should be fine :thumbsup:
