I recently bought it with the intention of turning it into a concourse car as the bodywork is fantastic but things change so i have to sell.

She is completely original.

she is a 1.8 4+E big bumper model with 153,000 miles but dont let the mileage put you off as she runs beautifully and the bodywork would suggest a quarter of the mileage

she has 2 sets of keys and has 9 months mot. no tax as its runs out on 31st july (can tax at buyers cost on collection)

has a folder full of history including receipts and old tax discs, and a haynes manual

the best thing about the car is its bodywork, there is a couple of bits of rust but you really have to look close, its that minimal!

she is Gambia Red which I've been told is a rare colour for jettas (only 85 of my model left, probably just a few gambia red)

she has the optional sunroof and wind deflector and also comes with a bike rack

she is currently undergoing a service including filters, oil and a rocker cover gasket, also fitting a new inlet gasket flange as the old one was perished.

she is on the standard 14x6 steelies with a few rust blemishes and could do with a home refurb.

Power steering pipe is leaking so will need replacing, the exhaust has a slight blow

also has the original blaupunkt stereo fitted and has a third brake light in the rear window.

there is a small chip in the windscreen

price wise i know cars like this are hard to find so I'm looking for £1195 ono for a beautiful original example.

Whats it like on fuel?

Suprisingly good for a 1.8, on a par with my old gt round town, better than the gt when commuting, also the comfiest car I've been in in years

Christ, if I had the money I'd snap this up.

Couldn't even store it myself atm, but a nice car and at £525 a steal!
