Where the fuck is the build thread on this? .. :(

no one would know whats under the hood

Correct, nobody would suspect just a petrol tank

LOL Meatloaf! Love how you seem to miss that its a RWD BIKE ENGINED POLO and just think about the possibilty of it hurting your ears  haha!

Sound deadening on fire shield and ear defenders FTW.

This is pretty epic! Defo need to see a build thread for it lol!

I recognize the polo tbf..

Matt black 6n with ronals...

Tobz theres a few :p

Would be sick but i dont think its worth putting a bike engine in a car unless its stupidlly light ... Bike engines have got fuck all torque :/

easily make it light though, poly carb windows, no dash/doorcards, carbon bucket seats, shorten wiring looms and of course excessive use of a hole saw :p

Only if it sounds anything like this I'm sure you would be a little bit suspicious.

At the end of the day it's all about whether or not you can do the shopping in it, practicality is the new 'scene'...

I know this sounds a little stupid but I've always wondered how would you do the gearbox? as the bike would have 1 down and 5 up wouldnt it? I'm sure theres an easy expliantion its just I've always wondered

Am I the only one who hasnt spaffed everywhere over a small torqueless bike engine attached to a bit of box section welded into a 6n?

it's a bit underwhelming eh? rev the tits off it to get moving i'd imagine it would be quick but not that drivable and besides you can get those power figures from a more conventional engine with more torque without increasing the weight as much as box section and an armour plated fuel tank would anyway, and you'd have back seats. come back when there is two bike engines in it.

Keep bike engines for bikes :p .

Although dont they use bike heads on berg cup cars ?

Yes.

I think its interesting, id definetley like to have a go to what it actually goes like. But end of the day its just another modified 6n :wasted:

Track car maybe. Road car no chance! The noise in it yeh must be deafening. The power to weight ratio compared to a bike completely diffirent aswell hence that engine in its proper frame fast fast but in a car full of running gear and suspension parts with lots of weight I'm not entirely impressed with it. NOT SLATING IT. Hats off to guy who done it. Just giving my own personal comments on as if I had it myself. Can u imagine a head on crash with any car on the road in this car Under the bonnet is a mk2 escort baffled alloy race fuel tank . SCAREY !!!! I think them would probably have more power>>>>>>>>>>

Its a 6n, which is heavy, with a load of box section in the back, and an engine with no torque, and compared to a bike the power to weight is shit. Why do people think that its the engine that makes a bike quick? Think about it. Bikes are quick as they weigh nothing, not because of the engine, so putting it in a car doesnt automatically make the car quick. Keep bike engines in bikes, or those westfield/ caterham ultra light things. Dont work in anything else, and it would be noisy and horrible to drive. Could have got more power out of a car engine, for less than that cost to make.

Love the time and effort that's gone into the switch panel on the dash - great quality of work.

Have some of you totally missed the point of this car or are you just retarded? Serious question

This car wasn't built for power, and a conventional engine swap couldn't do this...

Which is what this 6n was built to do, infact the coupe was built by the same people and if you do some reading up in on it they did a fair bit to compensate for the added weight. Part of which was to use a bigger engine and to change the gearing

It clearly states in the add that its built as a drift toy so who gives a fuck if it wouldn't be any good to drive to the shops? It wasn't built to do that

Has a fixed back axle too I think.

Oh no its got no torques!

Maybe some one should message him and let him know he could of got the same sort of power from a conventional engine conversion.
